2/50 NM 75% Silk 25% Cashmere
|
 |
Two highly prized fibres combine to make an extremely precious summer yarn.
Not easy to produce for wool weavers for its high silk content, this yarn was developed in 1998 predominantly for knitwear, and is the result of tests aimed at obtaining a regular yarn, free of neps in which the sheen of silk exalts the softness of Cashmere. |

This blend is an audacious attempt at reinterpreting cashmere in a summery, rustic form, blending it with a more rigid fibre like linen. |

Rustic but elegant. New in 1999, this is an interesting summer version of the original pure silk 2/120. |
